ON THE NEXIT TRAINING AND WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW AS A VOLUNTEER
Firstly I want to appreciate those that have been calling and messaging me to know the true position of the upcoming training. You are highly appreciated for the believe and trust attached to my personality and capability. My prayer is that may we all never labour in vain.
I was able to gather series of information from appropriate quarters as it concern our jurisdiction as well as gathering information from our counterparts in other states.
I was reliably informed that the trainning is been handled by different consulting companies and are saddled with the responsibility of organising an entrepreneurship training programme for Npower graduates in every state of the federation.
The following are some of the findings noted in the course of my interaction:
- All those that were able to confirm their availability for training using the USSD CODE will be invited for the training.
2.That the training program will be conducted in batches (A, B, C), the first batch of trainees numbering close to 1,000 have been contacted via SMS informing them of their posting for the entrepreneurship training and that these trainees have been informed of the time and venue of the programme.
- That the said training will first be flag off by the Honourable Minister in Abuja come this week Monday which is on the 14th day of March, 2022.
It is after the flag off that other states will kick off their training, that is, training will officially commence this coming Tuesday. So, the first batch of training will be between from Tuesday 15th to Saturday 19th day of March, 2022.
- That the list of the second batch of trainees will be received from the ministry within the week and they will also be invited for the training as well in the proceeding week.
Therefore, if you were not invited for the training in this first batch please do not panic or entertain any form of fear as you will surely be shortlisted for the second or third batch.
- That arrangement is still also ongoing to have the training centres in the 3 senatorial districts or Federal constituencies of the state for conviniency but with a caviate that if only such arrangement could materialize.
Hence, those that have not received SMS or mail to that effect will definitely be contacted in one of the remaining batches of the training.
Nevertheless, we have our ears and eyes among those already shortlisted and we believe they will represent us well by asking relevant questions on our behalf that can indeed solve the riddles that keep dribling us around as regards this upcoming training.
