Anthony Anderson, an American actor, has finally divorced.

According to court documents obtained by ET on Monday, Anthony’s wife of 22 years, Alvina Anderson, filed for divorce in Los Angeles County Courts, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

The couple is still legally married, and because they share no minor children, no custody agreements are required.

Alvina filed for divorce in September 2015, requesting primary custody of their two children, Kyra (now 26) and Nathan (now 22), as well as spousal support. However, in 2017, she filed for a divorce dismissal and reconciled with the Black-ish star.

Alvina has asked for spousal support and lists the date of separation as “TBD” in the new filing.

The court documents stated that “all gifts and inheritance, all assets, earnings, accumulations, and debts acquired by Petitioner prior to the date of marriage and after the date of separation, the exact nature and extent of which are unknown.”

The actor, 51, grew up in Compton, California, and went to Howard University. He and Alvina were high school sweethearts who married in September 1999.
