The Federal government has ordered all civil personnel to close by 1 p.m. today, March 29, so that workers can cheer on the Super Eagles as they face the Ghanaian Black Stars in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 playoff final at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.

A memo signed by Dr. Ngozi Onwudiwe, the Permanent Secretary (Service Welfare Office) for the Federation’s Head of Civil Service, contained the directive.

“Support for the Nigerian Team needs to be mobilized.” As a result, I am required to advise you that all offices will close at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.

“Permanent Secretaries are urged to publicize this circular widely.”
