Michael Kouame a junior French tennis player slaps the Ghanaian opponent After losing

The ITF Junior tournament in Accra, Ghana took an unexpected turn when a 15-year-old French tennis player, Michael Kouame, s!apped a Ghanaian player, Raphael Nii Ankrah, after losing.

After losing the first set 2-6 to Ankrah, Kouame, the tournament’s top seed, fought hard in the second set to force a decision.

The Ghanaian defeated the Frenchman 6-2 6-7 7-6 in the first round after winning a dramatic final set 7-6 on a tie break.

Kouame reached out and s!apped Ankrah as the two players approached the net for the traditional handshake, much to the surprise of the onlookers.

The ITF was immediately notified, and the player was immediately disqualified from the competition.
