Russell Wilson, the NFL star, has revealed the line that helped him land a date with his singer wife, Ciara.
Wilson appeared on Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud Radio on SiriusXM and repeated the things he said that piqued the 36-year-old singer’s interest.
He also revealed that he was carrying a “broken down” wallet that he had carried “for a while” at the time.
Wilson stated;
“The first day we met — and we’d been talking for two and a half hours, hanging out — she noticed the wallet on the table. ‘What the hell is that?’ she exclaimed. With that, you’re losing.
“I put my finger up and said, ‘First and foremost, you’re never going to lose with me.'”
That’s what you’re going to get from me’ “You’re going to get somebody who is consistent for you every day. Inside that wallet, there’s something that’s real in there.”
Wilson said Ciara thereafter agreed to go on a proper date with him. The new Denver Broncos quarterback went on to marry the Grammy-winning singer in 2016. The couple is parents to son Win Harrison, 20 months, and daughter Sienna Princess, 4. Ciara also shares son Future Zahir, 7, with rapper Future.
